The routine publication of government contract data as an open transparency obligation.
Federal organisations publish contract information on a recurring basis as a transparency requirement, typically including supplier, value, date and a description of the work. The data is generally downloadable in bulk.
For suppliers this is the richest available source of pricing evidence. Because it covers awarded contracts rather than advertised opportunities, it shows what buyers actually paid — which is the number that matters when deciding where to price a bid.
